Intrusion 2

Intrusion 2 is a side scrolling, platformer, sci-fi, shooter. Set on an alien planet you have to battle your way through hostile army type aliens and robots; this is fast paced and extremely fun.

There is no story here except for that you are stranded on a hostile planet and have to survive. at first you only start off with a pistol but the first weapon you will get is a machine gun, soon enough you will have a whole array of weapons from grenade launchers to laser zappers. The most common enemy is the standard army type police which can have most of the weapons you have. these guards also range in difficulty from the standard one with not much armor to ones with a jetpack. You will find other enemies ranging from shielded crab-like robots to gigantic hostile lizards. you can also find friendly creatures and suits in which you can ride to give extra protection and firepower. For example the wolf mount enables you to run faster, jump higher and bites enemies if it gets close enough.

With its tough boss battles and endless hours of gameplay i highly recommend this game and am giving it 8/10 stars.

Swords And Soldiers

Swords and Soldiers is a Side-scrolling strategy game with quirky graphics and a funny storyline.  Made for most platforms and developed by Romino games and Two Tribes this is a fun distraction.

The first thing you will notice in this game are the graphics. Although childish they are quite charming and suit the play style extremely well. It does this because the audio and  storyline are quite childish as well. To sum up these graphics are exquisite and a real piece of art.

The storyline in this game is a little funny and there really isn't much to it. Basically the other clans are annoying you in some way or another and you either have to protect your base or destroy theirs in a skirmish round. A skirmish round is when you order troops by clicking on the buttons at the top of the screen to go and destroy the enemy base. While this is happening enemy troops are trying to destroy yours. so most of your troops meet in the middle and battle it out to try and get to each others base. This is very fun and makes for some close calls.

The other aspects of this game is the multiplayer and challenges. The challenges are boring and not of any use but on the other hand the multiplayer is fantastic. Whether it be playing across the room with a friend or over the Internet with someone this is extremely fun. Although the challenges were a let down the multiplayer easily makes up for it.

To sum up this game has good and bad aspects. But the thing that really stood out for me was the multiplayer and i am happily giving this 7.5/10 stars.

Tips

Half Life

Tip 1:  When you get to the assassins try to use a revolver for long distance and a
shotgun for short distance. Since these guys don't have much health one shot with a revolver will kill them and the
 same will happen with a relatively short ranged shot from  a shotgun. I would not recommend using any type of
explosive or crossbow because assassins are fast they will move out of the way and not get hit by them.

Tip 2: With Vortigaunts always make sure you can duck around a corner before they shoot energy at you. While they
 are charging you can shoot them but if they shoot they almost always hit you.  use the weapon you
 have most ammo of on these to save other weapons ammo for better situations.

Tip 3: When battling the army guys remember to shoot them, then run around a corner and wait. Since they
have slow reaction times when they come around the corner they will not shoot you straight away this gives you an
 advantage. if you are close to them use a right click on the shotgun to one shot kill them.

Tip 4: for long ranged shots use the pistol or revolver because they are more accurate, but for super
 long ranged shots use the crossbow because of  the scope. for really close shots use the shotgun because of its
massive damage. the machine gun is used for medium ranged shot and does not do much damage.gdgddbhdhdhdhshdashdhdh
 the grenades and other explosives should be saved for a hard area or when you are on  low health.

Tip 5: Save some of the ammo of weapons which do a lot of damage
 for times when you are on low health or there are lots of guys.
